To ensure that all guests enjoy their stay and for the consideration of our neighbors, we require signing the following agreement: By signing, dating & returning this form to include the credit card authorization form for the reservation you have made, you have acknowledged and have agreed to the Terms & Conditions set forth by the Hygge House as written below. Failure to complete this form is grounds for cancelation of the reservation. We are 100% contactless and onsite every day. Our desk hours 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM.


We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express. Cash is NOT accepted.

Security Deposit

A pre-authorization of $150 is held 1 day before arrival and voided 7 days after departure. This is not a charge, this is a hold on your card released 7 days after departure.

Reservation Changes

If any change of dates (including shortening a reservation) is requested 15 days before arrival, aone-time change is permitted, subject to availability. There is a $75 fee for this change whether upgrading, downsizing or just changing your reservation, and your deposit becomes non-refundable. Late arrivals or early check-outs/shortened stays will be charged in full per the original reservation.

Cancellation Policy:

Our Hotels's small size means cancellations affect us significantly. The policy is Firm: Full refund for cancellations 30 days before check-in. If booked fewer than 30 days before check-in, you must cancel within 48 hours of booking confirmation and at least 14 days before check-in for a 50% refund if canceled at least 7 days before arrival. If you make a reservation for your stay within that 14-day window and then cancel, you are still held to the cancellation policy. No Shows forfeit the entire amount of reservation. Shortened stays are at your discretion and there will be no refunds, if you are the cardholder/payor but not the guest and the stay is shortened there will be no refund.

Wedding Blocks:

We extend a complimentary reservation hold for the rooms you require, and your guests should contact us to secure their bookings no later than 40 days prior to your date. Any unconfirmed reservations beyond that point will be released to the public. If bookings are canceled, a 15% refund may be given only if confirmed 30 days prior. Please fill out our wedding reservation form so we can reserve for your special day.

There is a $55.00 charge for late check-out requests that extend to 11:30 am, this ensures enough time to properly sanitize guest rooms between stays. Late and Early Check-ins are available for purchase in your boarding pass and will be approved if available.

Pet Policy

Hygge House does accept pets. There is an associated fee to handle the extra cleaning involved in the room and hallways for the well-being of our other guests who may have allergies. This fee does not cover any damage caused by your pets. Pets are not allowed on the beds or to use ANY of the bedding. Please clean up after your pets and dispose of waste properly. We have garbage bins around the back of the building. Guests will be charged for any pet-related damages including extra cleaning fees up to $500. We love pets and want to make sure you can enjoy your stay with your furry friends while respecting the property and other guests. Please bring along any items your pets will need during their stay. Including Food & Water Bowls, Beds, etc

Smoking Policy

NON-SMOKING PROPERTY Hygge House is smoke-free. Smoking inside or outside any room or suite will result in an automatic $500.00 charge.

Damage to linens

We photograph the damage and charge accordingly using the same cost guideline as the theft charges below. We don’t like to do it but it affects us significantly. Damage to the property, chairs, and room items (aside from linens) breaking any windows will be immediately charged to your credit card.


We are a small hotel and theft of any kind affects us significantly. Please be a good human and just don't do it. Missing items will be charged to your credit card. Missing towels and linens will be charged at the replacement cost of $50/item, comforters at $100, glasses, pots/pans, cutlery, and any interior room items will be charged accordingly.

Guest Regulations

Please help us avoid noise complaints by being courteous to other guests who may be sleeping, especially after 10 pm and before 7 am. No parties or large gatherings are to be hosted in your room or suite. Guests are responsible for any cleaning fees or damages resulting from such gatherings. Beer cans/solo cups/ alcohol bottles left outside on the premises you will be charged a cleaning fee of $100.00


Please see our guidebooks. There are 3 first come first serve spots in the rear of the building designed for compact vehicles. Please do not block other vehicles. We will try to contact you but if blocking other guests cars your vehicle may be towed at your expense. We do also offer our guests a private driveway for purchase with your room that can fit 2 cars in tandem. If you’d like to purchase please check your boarding pass for availability. Our outside planters, we take great pride in our flowers around the premises, DO NOT use our planters to hide/snuff out your cigarettes, beer cans, nips (NON SMOKING PROPERTY) or any of your trash (yes we find it all) be respectful!
